Product application:
Resorcinol is also known as 1,3-benzenediol, commonly known as resorcinol. It is used in pesticides to synthesize 3-chloro-4-methylcoumarin, an intermediate of the insecticide flytoxin, and the herbicide ethoxyfluorfen, and is also used in the manufacture of a variety of dyestuffs, special coatings, pharmaceuticals, photographic materials, synthetic resins, adhesives, cosmetics, and so on.
